Pink Himalayan Salt is a type of rock salt that is primarily mined from the Khewra Salt Mine in Punjab, Pakistan, near the foothills of the Himalayas. It is well known for its distinctive pink hue and is often touted as a healthier alternative to regular table salt. Ranges from light pink to deep reddish-pink, due to trace minerals, especially iron oxide (rust). The texture is coarse or fine crystals, depending on processing.
